Junior High Wellness Counseling
The Junior High Wellness counselor is available to all students and is located on the junior high campus 80% of the time. The Wellness counselor strives to empower students to maximize their overall potential by supporting the mental health and well-being of all students. Wellness counseling is a safe and confidential place of support located on campus.
The services offered are voluntary and take place during the school day. Although the appointments are excused during the school day, the student is responsible for communicating with their teacher and making up any missed work.
Each student who uses the wellness center will have an individualized counseling plan that meets their goals for the school year. Although the Wellness Center is housed on campus, all sessions are confidential and remain between the student and their Wellness Counselor.
